A selection of four tube stock plants to help you start your native pollinator garden.

Our pack contains:

Kunzea ambigua x 1, Hibbertia scandens x 1, Dianella caerulea x 1 and Coleus australis x 1

Kunzea ambigua - A large shrub growing up to 5m tall and 3m wide, but responds well to pruning. Masses of small white flowers in spring will attract native bees and small nectar loving birds and mammals. Suitable for a range of soil type in a sunny position

Hibbertia scandens - A rambling vine that can be used as either a ground cover or grown up a trellis. With large yellow flowers in spring and summer, this hardy plant suits many growing conditions including sandy, coastal areas. Easy to maintain, only requiring pruning if it wanders where you don’t want it to be. Hibbertia likes well draining soil, it will grow in a shaded position, but will flower best in a sunny spot.

Dianella caerulea - An easy to grow, and hardy clumping perennial. This strappy leafed plant has small blue flowers through spring and summer which will develop into a blue berry that is a favourite with many fruit and seed eating birds. Dianella will tolerate a range of soil type and will grow in full sun through to partly shaded positions. An excellent plant in positions that require soil stabilisation.

Coleus australis - A herbaceous shrub growing to 70cm in height, this plant will flowers at various times throughout the warmer months, producing a small spike of pale blue and lilac flowers that are attractive to many of our native pollinating insects. This shrub is a wonderful plant in an understory as it will tolerate conditions ranging from full sun to shade. Its shallow roots mean that it will grow well in rocky areas with minimal soil.

We recommend planting your new plants as soon as possible.

Please ensure daily watering of plants until they have been planted.
